Trip down memory lane

That was so fun reading those... I had tears running down my face laughing!!! Here are a few of mine.

• Being sidewalk artists at Grandma M's
• Drinking Grandpa M's Pepsi out of his old blue truck and eating his treats
• Laying in the back window of their brown car and ruining the speakers Oops!
• Having Adrian and Brooke and ALL of their friends, stay with us, what concert was this for? I have never made so many pancakes in all of my life :)
  
• Playing with Amy and feeding our dolls real bread and water
  
• French Fries every Sunday at Ruthie's and Irene's house
• Feeding the ducks
• Going to ShowBiz with Grandma M and collecting the tickets we won to buy the prizes, Disney on Ice, the Circus
  
• I still remember looking out the window after gotten home from Grandma M's and watching Grandpa M drive up the road, turn around and head back home.
  
• Playing in the boat at Grandma M's
• The Art City Days parade and Carnival
• ALWAYS wondering why we always had more candy than everyone else (THANKS GRANDPA M AND UNCLE DAVE!!)
  
• Playing with the Dobson's EVERY summer
• Running into Grandma M's house and waiting for the "Who do I hear"
• Grandma Great's glass pop bottles and her can opener hooked to her cabinets
  
• Riding our big wheels at the church by Grandma Great's
• HATING going to Primary in Springville, but never throwing a big enough fit to have to be taken for ice cream ADRIAN!! :)
  
• I honestly miss the hot ham and cheese sandwiches that I used to order all the time at Hardee's
• Pulling over on the overpass to say a prayer before we headed to Springville.
• Doing a perfect Swan Dive off the docks when we went fishing in Wyoming, pulling MOSS out of my hair
• Grandma M's burning inferno in our basement
• Uncle "Bean" and Celine, playing in the top of the old garage
• Starting Midnight on Fire
• Courtney and Tyler burning their eyebrows off
• I LOATHED mom snapping at us in Church and now I am a "Snapper"
  
• I remember when the roads in Holden were still dirt
• Riding our skateboards from the top of Norma's hill all the way down to the bottom road, not even stopping to look for cars on Main
• Numerous summer with Bill and Ruth's granddaughters, they always came over because they had the HOTS for Courtney!!
• Felipe feeding us his lunch, A LOT!!!!!
  
• Getting to drive to the farm to shut off the wells and not shutting off the yellow pump OOPS!!!
• KEN DO YOU READ!! KEN DO YOU READ?? and he never did!! (That made me laugh I had to add it too)
  
• Thinking dad was sooooo cool because he had one of those fancy bag cell phones
• Trying to make the road really slick at the bus stop so the bus would slide on by
• Watching for the bus out the sliding window
• Hearing mom 's swather story that none of us are supposed to know about
• I too remember hitting numerous risers, the gush of water out the top of the header was always amazing!
• I remember cutting hay with Julie Moody and only getting about 3 wheel tracks cut ALL day long
• Calling Eric "The Baby" until he was . . . . 18? :)
  
• Sleeping over with Aunt Laurie
• Her doing my hair all the time with HOT rollers and tissue in my hair so I wouldn't get burned
• Singing along with the choir in the benches and having Aunt Laurie tell me to be quiet!
• Walking to Activity Days with Diana and having our hair freeze
• Making bracelets with embroidery string
• Renting movies and getting pizza quite regularly
• Going to Wood's with the LONG list of items to buy for the BYU tailgate parties in the basement
• Mom and Dad teaching us how to spell A-L-B-U-Q-U-E-R-Q-U-E
• Mom and Dad teaching us the lesson on not to drink alcohol by lighting it on fire in a pan
• I loved Grandpa M marching us all over his house too, I loved the anticipation of him marching us right into a wall and wondering when it was coming
• Fat Jacks Pizza
• Cereal in Ziploc baggies for the ride home to Holden, ALWAYS the marshmallow kind
  
• I loved looking at the slides of Mom and Dave when they were little
• I loved how Grandma M would read us a story before going to bed (Little Black Sambo) at her house and rubbing my face in that funny pattern
• I loved that big hanging light in one of the bedrooms, WHERE IS IT??
• Going on family vacation? to Vernal to the Dinosaur place
• Eric almost drowning me at the Gunnison Pool or was it Phil?
  
• Remember when we were building on or something and the Sheetrock was in the hall FOREVER upstairs?
  
• I remember Dad trying to pull my tooth out with a piece of dental floss and the doorknob, DISASTER!! Don't try this on your kids, won't work will it Dad?
  
• The skeet shooting contests with the Tuttle's at the reunion
• Snowmobiling
• Dad taking Courtney and I mountain lion hunting, SCARED ME TO DEATH!!! I thought we were lion meat for sure
  
• I remember making Adrian run the bases IN HER SLEEP, you were too sleeping!!!
• I also DON'T remember throwing you on the bunk bed
• I DO remember balancing on Sandy's knees
  
• Roller derby in the basement around the sewer pipes
• Racing Dad and Court up the stairs and Courtney leaning in the curve and knocking himself out, almost
• Looking for the caterpillars in the weeds in the ditch hoping to find one that would be a Monarch someday
  
• Everyone asking to use the bathroom during summer softball season! (That one's for Mom)
