Grandpa M Remembered

I have very few pictures of my wonderful Dad. This week marks the 20 year anniversary of his death. It doesn't seems possible that it has been twenty years since I have looked into those navy blue, sparkling eyes that loved me so completely. I don't remember Dad with anything but gray hair; and in his later years, he had that lovely white hair. He was such a gentleman. He loved our babies and was often seen cuddling with them or pushing them in the stroller around the neighborhood. Dad, I want you to know that you are remembered and loved. Some day I'll get to feel those loving arms around me again.

What a great post, Mom! I can't believe it's been 20 years. I remember the day he passed away like it was yesterday. I still remember how you were crying at the bowling alley at Brooke's birthday party (even though at the time I thought it was because Grandpa was sick.) My favorite memories of Grandpa are him MARCHING us (on his feet!) around the house & of course, him snapping his dentures at me when I'd watch him shave-- & he'd always put a dallop of shaving cream on my nose! I love him SOO much & can't wait for the day that I can see him again & give him a huge hug!! He was an incredible man & someone I look up to SO MUCH!

Your dad was one of the finest men ever. Don and I have wonderful memories of him because he was so kind to us, and warm and accepting. We love him and we miss him.

What a sweet tribute. I can't believe it has been 20 years. That would have put me being 4 when he died. I wish I would have remembered him more, but I have very sweet memories of the stories that my dad has told us. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have the knowledge we have of eternal families!
